FOR THE SPIRIT
Originally from the north of France, where—of course—French Touch, but also Dutch influence and techno shaped my musical journey, I grew up in an environment where electronic sounds were omnipresent. As I explored my beginnings in music, I quickly discovered what I loved through artists like Daft Punk, St Germain, Kerri Chandler, Frankie Knuckles, or even Laurent Garnier. Their deep grooves, enchanting rhythms, unique soundscapes and, for some, jazzy elements combined with electronic beats have profoundly inspired me.
For me, music is a means of connection, a bridge between emotions and experiences, memories. In recent years, my auditory sensitivity has intensified, perhaps as a response to the reality of knowing that I am losing my sight. This awareness has led me to appreciate even more the nuances and sound textures that surround me. Each track I listen to becomes an exploration, an invitation to dive into different atmospheres. I find myself discovering details I had never noticed before—subtleties that bring music to life.
Through my sets and playlists, I aim to share this passion and quest for connection. I also sometimes blend tracks from soul, funk, reggae, and even rap because, for me, as long as the music resonates and touches the soul, it deserves to be listened to and shared.
